Last weekend my mom and I hosted a baby shower for Robby, Kasie and baby Abigail. Kasie is due November 25th and they are very excited about the new baby. We can't wait to meet her!

Mason turned 4 monts old on 10-16-08 and is now interested in the basketball.

It was very difficult to get a picture this month. His hands are almost always in his mouth.

This year Mason wore OU gear to the OU/TX game. Mason stayed on the RV with Mimi while Chris and I went to the game. When the game was over, Mimi brought Mason into the fair to meet us and he was wearing this. So, we decided that whoever won the game that is which team's stuff he would wear first the next year. You should've seen the confused look on people's faces when they saw me in my OU shirt carrying around a TEXAS baby!

Long lost blogger

So as you can tell, when I went back to work, I now have no time for blogging. It's terrible I know, because I know there were a few people who looked at this often, and I feel I've been letting you down. It's just that I have so little time these days. I work too much and when I get home all I want to do is spend time with Mason. Then when he goes to sleep... I am simply exhausted! But enough excuses...Mason is doing well and getting so big!

At his 2 month check-up, he got lots of shots and was in the 50th percentile for his weight and 97th percentile for his height. He is so LONG! He's going to be tall we think. He is smiling and even almost laughing sometimes. He can almost roll over too. He coos all the time and really looks like he wants to talk to you. He's adorable and fun. Here in the last two weeks or so he has even started sleeping through the night. Thank goodness for that. No sleep and workoing long days is rough on a gal!

This week he turned 3 months old. I can't believe how fast 3 months have gone. So the picture above of Mason was taken 9/16/08 and is something we are doing every month. Each month we are taking a picture of him with a basketball to see how much he is growing.

Back to Work

So last week was my first week back at work. It was a good week to go back because my doctor was out of town Wednesday through Friday, so I was able to go in a little later and come home a little earlier than typical work days. It was so very hard leaving him that first day. I tried so hard not to cry because I knew all the men I work with would make fun of me once I got to work...they are not very sensitive to this sort of thing. Of course the hardest thing after that was EVERYONE asking about him. It was really nice of them to ask, but it just reminded me of how much I missed him. Luckily we have found a stay-at-home mom in our neighborhood who is keeping him. So far it has been wonderful. I come home though and all I want to do is spend every possible second with him...and I do! I am so in love him!
